Today’s post is sponsored by Disney Junior!
My girls’ love for Sofia The First, inspired us to have a fun craft and snack time this week!
They made their own amulets and we created an easy treat that I’m sure Sofia would
serve at one of her own tea parties! Do you have little ones who love Sofia too? Then this post is for you!
Did you know that Disney Junior has all new episodes each “FriYAY” morning this
summer on the Disney Channel A new episode of Sofia The First is on June 30th and I know my girls can’t wait!
I remember when this show first came out and my Sophia loved that they had the
same name! (Different spelling of course, but to her that didn’t matter!)
Tune in to Disney Channel every Friday morning this summer to see new episodes
of your favorite Disney Junior shows!
Our craft time was really fun! This project couldn’t have been easier.
All it took was some modeling clay, jewels and yarn!
They haven’t taken off their necklaces since they finished making them. I love
offering the kids craft time where they can get creative and then it extends into play time.
They’ve been pretending to be Sofia and that their amulets let them talk to animals just like her. hehe.
We love pretend play around here!
The treats for our little Sofia inspired tea party were so yummy! And almost too
pretty to eat! All we needed to make the fruit tarts were some shortbread
tartlet shells, fresh fruit and vanilla pudding (You could also use whip cream!)
We put out a bowl of blueberries and some sugar cookies to make it feel like a real tea party spread!
The girls thought it was so fun. There’s some special about tiny little treats…always make it feel fancy!
Be sure to check out Disney Junior for all the fun shows and episodes this summer,
and remember new episodes premiere first on Disney Channel every Friday morning!
Thank you again to Disney Junior for sponsoring today’s post!
We had so much creating a craft and snack time themed around one of their favorite shows!
