Room Tour: Sienna’s Pink Room with Floral Decals

June 29, 2020

We recently did a Budget Friendly Room Makeover for Sienna! A few details and it felt like a totally new room!
A new inexpensive Dresser, fun bed canopy and some wall decals made her room feel special.
Today I’m sharing all the details of her room!

Her room was originally painted pink on top and blue on the bottom half. We painted the bottom part white and it immediately felt brighter.
I loved the look of wallpaper for her room but I didn’t want to spend the time or money on that project right now. So instead I picked out some floral decals I found on Amazon and layered them on top of the pink walls. WallPops May Flowers Wall Art– I got two sets. It gives that wallpaper look and I could easily finish the project in one evening! So happy with them.
The decals are a great soft color and can be rearranged easily.

Rearranging her room with furniture we already had helped make the room flow better. We moved her toy storage cubbies into her closet to free up space.
The bed was a Facebook marketplace find last year. I got the Dip Dye Bed Canopy from Target to jazz it up.
We hung up higher her IKEA Lace curtains over the window.
I love the nightstand I had already gotten for her. It’s from Target and has a cubby on the bottom that she uses for stuffed animals.
We put her IKEA MICKE desk in the corner with one of our extra metal chairs we had.
The unicorn lamp is from Target. We put out a couple frames we already had. (from past birthday party tables.)

She loves having her bulletin board and we added a couple pieces of artwork next to it. (Unicorn art is from Target and the kitty in the window is from Hobby Lobby.)
When you first walk into her room I hung up some art we had from Hobby Lobby. The wall sticks out a little bit there (from the closet) and I love how it fits.

This dresser was such a good find! Picket House Furnishings Jesse Dresser in White.
I got it via Walmart and it came built! SCORE.
Loved the crystal knobs on it. Every day I come into her room to see it decorated differently haha. Most recently she snagged that glass jar from the Dining Room selves and filled it with scrunchies. ;)  The mirror was a freebie find and works great for now!

Sienna loves having spaces to decorate and have all her little things out. So I hung up two different shelves where she can display and rearrange all she wants! Both from Target: Metal Circle Shelf in Gold and Wooden Triangles Shelf. She is also quickly turning into a faux plant lady (like me haha.) and I knew she would flip over a hanging plant! (Target.)
The artwork around the shelf was from Hobby Lobby. The LOL Winter Disco Chalet dollhouse is from this past Christmas.

I love how bright and cheerful her room is.
The flower decals and canopy really made it all come together and look lovely!
She has a basket int he corner of her room where she has other stuffed animals and blankets/pillows she loves.

Thanks for stopping by to see how we pulled her room makeover together!
By rearranging or repurposing things we already had..mixed with a few good online finds, we pulled it off!
Sienna loves her room and having this space that’s all her own – with plenty of shelves/counters to decorate over and over again. ;)
