She is my spunky sweet girl.
If Sienna was a movie character she would be a mix of boo from Monsters Inc. and
Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck it Ralph.
She is feisty but has the sweetest heart. I can’t believe she is three.
ok MUST STOP. sobbing will commence if we keep
talking about her growing up. haha.
Ben and I watched the girls run around and play in the yard tonight…
Sienna was READY for Preschool!!
She absolutely loved her first day. She was a little upset when we got to school that we had to “walk her to the door”…….she wanted to go by herself. (heaven help us.)
When we picked her up she ran to me and hugged me and said
“MOM!!…WE HAD SNACK!!”
Sounds like a good first day. ;)
***For the chalkboard signs..I just used one I got earlier this year at Hobby Lobby..
and then added the text in via photoshop. :) I am loving this tradition.
I think a photo album is in the works!! ;)**
Also happening this week —— Micah had a horrible reaction to something
that we now think was triggered by the detergents we used.
It was always worse when he woke up from his nap/or night.
We saw 4 doctors.. 1 of them a Pediatric Dermatologist.
Who helped us figure out he was experiencing a combo of three things..
but pretty much a severe case of eczema. So we are going to try and change up detergents/soaps in the house. We have been using CeraVe lotion
and it’s worked wonders. I’m just so happy that he isn’t swollen anymore!
It was THE SADDEST thing.
But poor guy…now he has the sniffles and a low fever.
We were up all night with him last night.
He doesn’t want to nurse he just hums sadly on my shoulder. :(
I think teeth are coming. Thanks for all the prayers and
well wishes via Instagram and Facebook!
We’re hanging in there! Sick babies are so sad.
Do you have any cute kid quotes?? share!

September 6, 2013 at 4:12 pmNo joke, after you posted the uniform/unicorn comment on Fbook(?), the next day Katherine and I were folding laundry…okay, I was folding laundry and folding Brett’s scrubs and we had almost an identical uniform/unicorn conversation!

September 7, 2013 at 10:49 pmGigi [Pointing to a spot in the woods]: “There’s diarrhea back there!”
Me: “No, I think you mean there’s poison ivy back there-“
Gigi: “No, Mommy, there’s diarrhea there!”
For some reason, our three year old Gigi mixes up “poison ivy” and “diarrhea”. Don’t know why. We’ve tried explaining that they are two very different things. As long as it keeps her from wandering off into the woods!

My little miss who is going to be 4 had a severe case of environmentally triggered eczema and thankfully we have things down pat now with her. No flare-ups in about a year! woop woop!
