Sienna had a birthday thursday!
and Sophie’s is coming up on the 30th- turning 5!
I think I’m the most emotional with these birthdays more than the others.
They feel so big… I feel like I just had sienna and now she is THREE!
She is our little peanut..our spitfire.
Sienna is so full of life..she doesn’t just come when I call her…
she makes an entrance.. “tadaaaa!”…
She can’t possibly wear 1 outfit for an entire day..
she needs wardrobe changes ;) a lot of them. drives me bonkers.
but at the same time the things she pairs together to wear are hilarious and adorable
She is so lovey and snuggly and If I say something like,
“oh my head hurts..”
her response is usually “I’ll pway for you.”
I love her and her little heart so much!
We were at bible camp all morning..then went with
some friends directly to lunch/play time at Chuck E Cheese.
It was equal parts torture and fun. :)
We got her two presents… a package of the characters from
We got her two presents… a package of the characters from
Sophia the First… and a Wreck it Ralph doll. (Her favorite movie)
He is going to be getting a lot of love and diaper changes. ;)
We had a busy week… but I pulled out my amazing cake making
skills to “throw” together a birthday cake!
I had a box white cake mix, a container of frosting, some flower sprinkles
and some leftover worms from the Back to School Display at IKEA….
Sienna was in the kitchen with me pulling out all the “ingredients”…
and she was SO EXCITED about her grass and worms cake.
It was going to be epic!!!!
I’m known for now being good at decorating cakes.
I can put the cake mix in a pan..and then my skills end there. haha.
BUT… with a grass cake…I just put some green frosting in a
sandwich bag/cut the tip off and squiggled all over the place lol.
(I HAVE a tip kit but it’s still boxed up from our move. of course!)
My husband’s response to the cake.. “atleast it didn’t melt this time….” haha.
(I attempted to make a castle cake for their 1st and 3rd birthday party…
hottest day of the year+record heat+no air conditioning= melted cake)
There is something so amazing about kids loving your failures…
It seriously made me so happy to see their smiling faces.
This is NOT a pinterest worthy cake..and I’m fine with that because they loved it.
Now..they loved it mainly because there was frosting cake
and worms involved…It was gonna be a win.
the highlight of her birthday…
blowing out candles. ;)
my beautiful grass & worm cake got the thumbs up.
mission accomplished.
If you are looking for a cake to do that takes no
skills whatsoever..this is it! ;)
My loves.
I love you sweet Sienna!
Happy third Birthday!! You light up my life.
Birthday party is coming later this month.. I love celebrating my girls.
And I’m going to buy a cake that day. lol.
