We spend most of our day in the Family Room and this space just makes me happy!
I finally finished up one side of the gallery wall… (still tweaking the other wall) But I wanted to get this up on the blog!
I’ve been getting a lot of questions over on Instagram so wanted to share some sources here for you guys.
I hope you enjoy the little room tour!
I wanted a cheerful and comfy space for the whole family. I had been on the hunt for a sectional that was light colored
but had a good material to be forgiving for any kid spills.
We looked at a ton of furniture stores and randomly went into Ashley Furniture and found this baby!
We got the Enola 5-Piece Sectional.
It comes in different combinations. We did the 5 piece option and it’s awesome.
With five kids… it’s nice when each kid can have their own cushion. haha.
I love having gallery walls on either side of the sectional… it just completed the space and anchored it.
If you’re wondering about the material click here to see it up close to get an idea of the color/texture. It’s awesome!
The rug is from Rugs USA and I’ve loved this pattern ever since I spotted it in a couple friend’s homes via Instagram!
Rugs USA was doing a sale so I snagged it after texting ben a photo and asking if he was down for pink in the family room. haha. He was!
It’s the Pink Moroccan Diamond Pole Rug in size 6×9. I love the pop of color it brings to the space!
I think it’s going to be so pretty come Christmas too… we do a lot of whimsical and white for decor so it’ll be perfect.
My Pillows are from Target and World Market. I probably should have more to even it
all out but my kids are known for throwing pillows on the floor and these days I’m just reducing the crazy. ;)
There will be a season for more pillows.. this is not it. haha.
The Gallery Wall is a mix of frames from IKEA, Hobby Lobby and a few from Target.
Most of these we already had – I got a few things to mix in and update it.
The large prints with quotes are all from Hobby Lobby. The Thankful and Blessed is Hobby Lobby.
I found an anchor hook and the metal 2 at Hobby Lobby…
I painted the hook white to have it match.
It represents our two miscarriages. The anchor symbol represents hope!
Two of the flower drawing prints are part of a set from IKEA.
The curtains, rods, and coffee table are from IKEA.
I hope this is helpful as you work on making your family room feel like home! We’ve loved how this space has come together….
I have a feeling I’l be rearranging frames on the stair wall side…
(I had those up before the sectional arrived.) but for now It’s HOME!
Currently using a nightstand (from target) in the space.. eventually want to do something else there. The basket in the corner is our diaper/wipes basket.
I’ll share any updates we do. ;) Follow on Instagram for daily life!

September 9, 2019 at 8:22 amIs the sectional difficult to clean or keep clean with kids? I’d love a light color, but I’m afraid my kids would get it so dirty!
