Rocket Party Theme

February 4, 2011

I am a huge fan of Tracey of My House of Giggles…and when i saw this post featuring her 3 yr old son’s Rocket Birthday Party i was lovingggg every detail!
and had to share.

This “wocket” party (as her son says)…is loaded with budget friendly DIY ideas
starting off with these fabulous invitations…how adorable.. you could use this same idea for other transportation themed party invites. great inspiration..
these cuff/wristbands were an awesome addition to the favor bags!
her little son zoomed around with his rocket! my sophia would totally be into this.
LOVE this. great way to use basic craft supplies to make a great statement and
really pull the theme together!
she found this vintage wallpaper border for 25 cents!! nice find..and she did a fab job putting it to use. those are paper plates! but they make me think of the circles of the rocket ship windows. cleva cleva.
she set up a great craft station for the kids. i’m all about this.
what a great idea to put up photos of the birthday boy..to reminisce..they grow so fast. ;)
and of course you have the rocket ship cake…..
the best part, they put sparkles in the bottom to make it blast off!!
the birthday boy had his very own cardboard rocket ship! i’m all about interactive play at parties..
and this would really get the imagination going for the little ones..how fun!
and here are the cute loot bags full of rocket themed
goodies found from various dollar stores.

great job mama!

be sure to check Tracey out over at My House of Giggles.
She posted lots of details and ideas so head over there to read the full post.
i love reading her blog..because it’s all boy..and mine is all girl…haha..
for now, I can live vicariously through her when it comes to having a house of baby boys.

ps. send my way any parties you have done! i would love to check them out. :)

But I did have lots of fun planning the rocket party :) I get a little caught up in the details…haha……what’s life without the details, right? ;)

I love your blog too….your girly, beautiful blog :) I could have died when you posted your candy shop party. Seriously amazing!!!

This is adorable! I may steal it for next year. And I love the rocket cake!

My boys are having their birthdays in March and I’m doing an Old West theme featuring gold mining and trains so I may adapt some of these ideas. Thanks for sharing!
