Earlier this month some of my local blog friends and I hosted an event to
spread awareness on an incredible local Non-Profit.
Fashion & Compassion connects caring consumers with vulnerable
women artisans to bring dignity through economic opportunity.
They provide employment opportunities to vulnerable women in Charlotte and communities around the world.
They are helping women overcome poverty and injustice and giving them hope
for a better future for themselves and their children. When I heard that they worked
with women who were coming out of domestic violence situations
I knew I had to help spread the word. I hope that you check out the video below!
100% of their profits are donated back into their ministries, organizations or communities they partner with.
Rachel headed up the whole thing and it was an incredible thing to be a part of.
I love a party with purpose! Here’s some shots from the night
taken by the talented Christine Mason Photography.
Of course I couldn’t find my black wedges as I was running out the door.
tis life! and tis 5 year old daughters who wear them around the house and leave them somewhere. ;)
These ladies are so inspiring! Linking them all below!
Their Boutique in Charlotte is magical!
Some of us hosts brought our older daughters with us so they could
be a part of the event and learn more about the amazing work being done here.
They were giggly and hyped up on sugar and pretty jewelry all night.
It was a special night! So fun chatting with all the women who popped in to shop and enjoy the treats!
I brought a trunk full of party supplies and we styled up some cute areas for food and drinks.
My friend asked me to bring some of my globes. (She shares the globe obsession.)
Loved that detail because Fashion and Compassion help women worldwide.
The tag on the jewelry shares where the item was made.
I kept going for the veggie tray and somehow my hand ended up at the donuts.
Strangest thing.
I loved how they displayed the jewelry and created this amazing
space to be inspired and encouraged while you shopped.
I left with a necklace but it seriously took me forever to choose something because it was all so lovely!
They had an amazing work room where they make the jewelry.
Major bead eye candy!
You can find out more about Fashion & Compassion in this video
and Connect with them on their Website, Facebook and Instagram!
I would love if you could help spread the word about them and shop with purpose!
Loved being a part of this event and teaming up with these lovely ladies!
