Ever since we moved to Pittsburgh i wanted to find a salvage yard to explore!! they are gold mines! Transformed pieces from a salvage yard/garage sale/reuse center can end up being a favorite piece in your home…and part of the fun is the bargain hunting/bartering!! You can get deals and with a little loving have a one of a kind in your home. :)
And then for some inspiration check out White Berry Reinvented! Holly’s blog is one of my favorites!
Here’s photos from our past trip to a Salvage yard here in Pittsburgh: Construction Junction. LOVE IT. I want to go back and load up a truck. just need to find a truck first. haha.
have you transformed any salvage yard finds?? do share. :) i always love seeing what people create!
ps. inspection for our new house went pretty well today considering it’s a 104 yr old house…..haha. hoping that everything else goes smoothly. i already have paint colors and window treatments picked out for most of the house. hehe.
ps. i have the best husband ever…. came down from putting sophia to bed and opened up my laptop to this. :) he’s so cute.
