So the weekend in Nashville was amazing. It was so good to see old friends. most of whom i hadn’t seen since they got married..and now most of them have 2 or more babies!! They got to meet sophia and see me in all of my preggo glory. Tricia and Phil’s wedding was beautiful. I was highschool friends with tricia and we did a year of international volunteer work together straight out of high school for the Church. I’m so blessed to have such a great and holy friend like her! I’m so happy for them. Her whole family is fabulous..most of you know Anna from In Honor of Design..thats one of her big sisters. and another one of her sisters, Maria, is over at Going Natural Woman.
Overall the weekend was a big adventure and we had fun with it! We brought a certain amount of money to spend…and then that was going to be it and we ended up being wayy under our budget for the weekend so i was very happy. Sophia was amazingly good in the car. it might have had something to do with ben and i singing the itsy bitsy spider for hours straight (hand motions included) but the 9 hour drive was totally worth it. I love getting to see old friends and meet new ones! I was so suprised when some of the other wedding guests told me they knew me..that i was the busy budgeting mama!! haha. so sweet and flattering that they read my blog! Some old family friends even approached me saying how they find me so refreshing when it comes to motherhood and they read my posts every day!! that just made me so happy..i was gushing. haha. here are a few (ok i know a million…) photos from the weekend! because we are camera happy people and i love looking at other people’s photos..

April 21, 2010 at 4:31 pmYou take such amazing pictures! On top of that your family is beautiful, you are stunning, and you have a great blog. Is there anything you’re not good at? That church is breath taking and the bride was absolutely beautiful.
P.S. Thanks for showing photos of the stencil work in your dining room. I’d love to see more photos of your house! Yet another thing you’re freakishly good at. ;)
