I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend!
We had some good family fun, worked around the house and went
to a few events with new friends in town!
I feel like we just plowed into this week though! And suddenly it’s Friday!
Tuesday totally felt like a Monday and I was not ready for it. haha.
I just wanted to hop over and share some photos of what we’ve been up too.
Lots of home making going on, Shopkins Party planning and family time.
Trying to get used to our new routine. Not gonna lie… there were days I felt like
I was gonna lose my mind with tackling getting the house unpacked, baby proofed
and just under control in general. But I tried to not get overwhelmed
by taking breaks from real unpacking to do fun stuff like DIY/home projects and party planning!
It always makes me happy when the house feels like home.
The girls’ party is this weekend and we are so excited
to celebrate them with new friends!
Sophia and Sienna are SO EXCITED and it makes my heart so happy
seeing them already have friends from school and church.
They are like running up to each other and hugging kind of friends. so sweet.
The girls are loving school…they come home (exhausted but that’s understandable…
still getting into the swing of things from summer) but they are singing
Jesus songs and playing school and I have loved listening to what they chat about…
you can tell they are mimicking things they have heard from their teachers.
all amazing things. God is good. Thankful for the people He has put in
our path here while we are off on this adventure in Louisiana.
(Sophia had the sweetest convo with me the other day and
I shared part of it in this instagram post)
I’m pretty sure one of the kids that Ben has connected with from ministry is going to do
photos and video of the party..I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.
Would love to be able to share the fun with you guys and all of our family far away.
Either way I’ll be snapping or periscoping when I can tomorrow and on party day.
And you know I’ll snap some cute photos of the birthday girls and their party details.
Everything I show them they are giddy over! We are having fun with it all. :)
I’ll try to snap some photos of the house because we all know that
it’s the cleanest right before company arrives. ;)
And I’ve done a few DIY shiplap projects that I CAN’T WAIT to share with you guys!!
(I took this phone photo right after we finished, I couldn’t wait for daylight to share it on instagram.
Love having this mantle to decorate!
Ben and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary today!
I’m so thankful for this amazing man in my life!
“Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @blesnefsky!! 9 years! It feels like we were just college kids and now we have 4 kids telling us how OLD we are lol. I choose you babe over and over. You still give me those butterflies I felt when we first made eye contact on campus. You still make me laugh and smile like our first date when you “grilled” me on how many kids I wanted or the time you showed off your sweet bball moves in the gym. We both knew pretty soon we were made for each other. We had been praying for our future spouse all those years and I’m so thankful to Him for bringing us together. You are my greatest gift. Together we have a family I can’t even imagine life without. Thank you for the way your serve and lead us. I hope our boys grow up to be just like you. I love you babe. ๐”
