Huge Happy Mommy Box News

This week I’m sharing a lot of the changes that are happening in my life…
First with the blog name switch and now this…
All good and exciting, but change nonetheless…which can be overwhelming!
This day has been thought out and planned and suddenly it is here!
Mandy has been getting texts from me all day haha.

We have some huge news to share with you!
Mandy and I have decided to shift gears and say yes to the changes we feel God is wanting of us!
We both are wanting and needing to focus on our expanding families
(mandy’s adoption and my baby due in october.)
We are ready to simplify the way we are able to use our online platform to encourage moms!
Mandy and I will no longer be running HAPPY MOMMY BOX.
We are not sad, but more excited for this next chapter for us!

We know change can be hard, but we have been feeling a shift over the past year and
it wasn’t until last month, that we felt completely brave in this
decision and wanted to make this announcement.
I was at dinner with my husband when I first started sharing my heart on this earlier this year.
He was super supportive as always. Luckily Mandy and I were both on the same page too…
it’s like God was working in both of us, states away, and was like GIRLS… I have bigger plans for you.
Maybe not even bigger..but different. And we are excited to see what He has in mind.
His plans are always better than our own!

We both can see the amazing potential for HAPPY MOMMY BOX, but it would take more
employees, time and effort and we aren’t willing to sacrifice that time
away from our family, in this season of our lives.
I always want to put my family first.
It’s hard to walk away from something that is thriving..we love seeing our items in your hands…
We love the community that we’ve seen form and connecting with all of you.
But it comes down to saying yes to the right things. We are wanting to say yes to our family more.
It’s an incredible feeling not trying to do it all! I highly suggest putting aside fear or insecurities and listening to HIM.
Because He gives us the greatest peace when we are on His path.

We both have some exciting things we have been working on and dreaming up separately.
Ways we can use our reach, to encourage moms, but also be able to stay focused on our own role as mothers!
We decided to focus in on what really matters in our work and the best
way we can make an impact with the time and talents we have!

A wise friend of ours, an incredible mama and business woman, said earlier this year…
All the hustle in the world doesn’t mean a thing if you aren’t going where God is leading you.
And we couldn’t agree more.
I’ve loved being on this journey with Mandy and am so blessed by her friendship!

The Celebrate Motherhood Retreat will continue and I’ll be taking that on.
But HAPPY MOMMY BOX will not be the focus of our work.
I can’t wait to share more on these exciting changes and details on
the future of the Celebrate Motherhood Retreat.
