Life has been crazy! The response from the first few months of our
company HAPPY MOMMY BOX have been incredible!
Starting a company has been A LOT of work….
HAPPY MOMMY BOX is my current baby that I stay up all night with.
But the e-mails and comments we have been getting from our subscribers and brands
we work with have been such motivation. But most of all, I feel like THIS is what I’m
supposed to do. It’s more than a subscription service…we are shipping moments for
moms. A moment that is just for them to encourage and inspire them and a moment
where they can realize that they are worth a little spoiling just for them.
I’ve had e-mails from moms who have cried reading the magazine we make, that goes
in each box, just because it spoke right to them in what they were dealing with that week
a whole other level and connect with the community of moms out there!
We really want to help moms celebrate motherhood!
It’s been great working with some brands and small businesses.
Most of them send really sweet notes with their items and it’s always encouraging.
It feels like Christmas when the items arrive, knowing we get to surprise some mamas with them!
I’m so hopeful that this will be something great for my family. My sophia told me the other day
“you’re a good happy mommy box-er” … best compliment ever. ;)
I’ve been gathering super awesome girlfriends for girls’ nights and boxing up all the boxes in my basement…
but we ran out of space! So we went on the hunt for a
new HAPPY MOMMY BOX headquarters
and we found a perfect space for us!
The february box will be shipped out the middle of this upcoming
week from our new location and I am still freaking out that
we are at this stage already!

The other day, I took two little boys to IKEA to get some items to make the space
functional (and a little pretty) to ship out hundreds of boxes.
Lots of countertop height tables! It’s going to be soooo nice having
that instead of floors couches and coffee tables ;)
Ben holder down the fort the other night so my friend natalie and I could go make
the new office a little cuter! I can’t wait to share more photos of the space!

Painting breaks on the middle of the floor because no chairs or tables are made yet. haha.
Mandy, my lovely business partner, is coming to pittsburgh in march, to be a part of the fun on the shipping end!
I can’t wait to show her our office and I’m sure we will be doing some videos and
talking about how it’s been starting a company!
I am so grateful for my amazing hubby.
He has supported this dream of mine from the start.
I think he is waiting for the day I give him a happy daddy box. haha.
We have a wait list for our boxes right now…
But every month we are adding boxes and send out an e-mail blast letting
our wait list subscribers know that boxes will be available at a certain date/time.
We give them a 30 minute head start and then we share on social media.
This past month we sold out of our february boxes within 2 hours 30 minutes.
I do the website graphics..and had to switch back the wait list sign up after we sold out…
Micah was happy he woke up early from his nap at this time because he got
oreos and bubble guppies in the high chair while I scurried on the computer. #momoftheyear

It’s so fun seeing who is buying boxes for who.
I print out the shipping labels each month right now,
and love when I see a mom buying boxes for all her daughters/daughter in laws…
or a moms group friend buying for another moms group member!
