on a totally random side note..
funny story of the day.
possible maternity model for a day?
i took sophia to the mall today because 1. she could play in the kiddie area and burn some energy 2. i could get a dairy queen butterfinger blizzard. now there were a lot of kids there on the playground..one girl already pushed sophia. i was about to leave because it was too stressful for me haha.
all of a sudden this mom comes over to me..all stylish i should say…and i started slouching already feeling like i was about to be scolded because i though sophia had pushed her child (she’ been rough lately..roaring and such..haha.) this lady sits down next to me and says “this is gonna sound really random and wierd…but i’m the editor-in-chief of pittsbugh fashion magazine and certain issues we pick women off the “street” to be on the cover.. and i saw you and wanted to see if you would be interested in our may issue.” (?!?!? i was like haha..oook. in shock cause i really thought i was about to deal with a mom to mom thing) she said that she loved my look-specifically this floral headband i had on..thank you target..$9.99. i remembered what i looked like…before i had left i had rubbed baby powder in my dirty hair to absorb the oils, tied my hair back in a messy teased bun and then thrown the headband on. she gave me her card and said the shoot would be this day or that day..let me know if you could do it..and we’ll take care of everything hair.. makeup.. how random but fun is that?!? not sure yet if i’m going to do it..not sure if i would like all the attention..but then again it could be fun. and maybeeee be able to have a blurb about my sister’s line blanqi..and my mommy blogging/graphic design.
ok. that’s my exciting news of the day. hope you try out these diy ideas cause they look amazing.

March 11, 2010 at 11:38 pmYou should definitely do it! How exciting, and random. I’m sure it will be fun. Plus, you might regret it if you don’t give it a shot :-)
Anyway, that’s my advice. Plus, you do seem to have a great style, so I can understand why she chose you. Let all of us in the blogging community know if you do it!
