On friday nights we do movie night with the kids! If friday is too busy we sometimes push it to saturday.
This past week has been a long one, so I wanted to do more than our typical popcorn for the movie treat…
So I made up a sundae station! After dinner it was pj and movie time.
And while they all get settled I put out the treats. I had gotten a few things at the grocery store to
make it extra fun, but I was most excited about the FLIPZ® Chocolate Covered Pretzels!
In college, this was my snack of choice haha. Love them and knew the kids
would think they were a fun addition to the sundaes!
It’s the perfect mix of salty and sweet.
For our sundae bar we had vanilla ice cream, marshmallows,
white fudge covered pretzels, milk chocolate covered pretzels,
chocolate candies, maraschino cherries and magic shell chocolate fudge.
The kids were loving it and my “cool tool” I used to scoop the ice cream out. haha.
Instead of using their kid bowls, we used our little coffee mugs!
With kids, it’s the little things.. like having a handle for your sundae. ;)
I don’t typically let them use non plastic bowls, but that made it more fun and fancy!
They got to pick out what to put on their sundae…their response, “EVERYTHINGGG!”
So after a crazy week, we celebrated a day all home together with these fun sundae mugs.
I think they especially like that they had to use a spoon and their fingers to eat this dessert.
Mother hood can involve a lot of no’s…so it’s nice to say yes.
Yes to eating with your fingers and getting sundae crazy!
I saw that FLIPZ® has a new limited edition snowflake pretzels! (exclusively for the holiday season)
That has cute snowflakes and stars. I think I’ll end up getting those too for Christmas parties.
It’s a good treat to easily add to your party spread!
I hope you feel inspired to set aside time to make extra special sundaes with your family!
Soak up those sweet moments and eat sweets with your sweeties. ;)
Thank you to FLIPZ® for the coupons and sponsoring this post!
They inspired me to put together this extra special spread and my family loved it.
