We got to celebrate our first Easter in our new home this year! It was so special. Always love doing a little Easter recap for the Blog and sharing details on what the Easter bunny put in the baskets!
Life is feeling extra busy these days…and I didn’t get to decorate till days before! But! that didn’t stop me from whipping up some last minute magic. A balloon garland over the island and some ceramic bunnies on the mantel and boom – Easter fun! ;) The garland was made with a pack of balloons from Hobby Lobby + some white balloons. I also get the balloon strips– makes it so easy to string them up! I added some streamer tassels and done! Ready to celebrate Jesus!
The bunnies were 3 pack sets from Hobby Lobby. I didn’t add new Easter decor this year except for these guys. I had a similar decoration up as a child..so it just felt right!
My friend Courtney and I were asked to make the photo op backdrop at Church. I love how it turned out! Pretty special seeing all the families taking their photos there on Easter! :)

It’s always so fun seeing what the Easter Bunny brings the kids in their baskets!! ;) We have 6 baskets across our table and have JUST ENOUGH space for them all to fit. I love Holidays with a big family!

EASTER MORNING 2022 – PART TWO
We all headed to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, down the street, for Easter Dinner.
I made a video to just try and capture these memories. These are my kinds of treasure!
VIDEO: EASTER DINNER AT GRANDMA AND GRANDPA’S HOUSE.
As soon as we got there, I helped my mom finish up some cooking and unload the things I brought. LOOK how she set it up all cute! She always makes it special for the grandkids.
While some things finished baking, we all went outside for the COUSIN EGG HUNT! It’s randomly become a tradition that we get these Mochi Squishies off Amazon and that’s our contribution to the stuffed eggs. (I prefer it to the candy option AND I think the kids do too.) The cousins all end up trading them for a good hour after dinner.
It’s always a feast when Grandma plans dinner! So much yummy food. I ate my weight in her carrot cake muffins! haha.
My contribution was the broccoli salad. We make it for almost every holiday. It’s SO GOOD. Made it for our Church small group the other night and it was a hit..again. TRUST ME… make this recipe the next time you need to bring a side. ;)
After dinner we had some laughs and crazy with a game of charades!
We are a prettyyyyy competitive family..soo…let’s just say everyone got into the guessing. loudly. haha.
