Easter 2021

Happy Easter from all my Peeps! 🐤🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐣
Somehow we got a family photo… even though the boys ate peep candy kabobs all morning. haha!
It was a special Easter, with my people, celebrating Jesus’s amazing love!!

We are living out of suitcases, at my parents’ house, till our closing day on the new house…
But somehow the Easter Bunny knew where to find us!

It’s pretty festive over here on Easter morning with a table FULL of baskets!
The kiddos were so excited to wake up and come downstairs. Love these sleepy sweet faces!

It was a fun morning! There were some major excitement going on haha.
(Hunter LOVED his new boots. Asher got a painting set that made him so happy… he had been wishing to paint!)
Micah’s new Minecraft panda has been named Panda…and is a favorite!

Lots of sugar was eaten!! The peep candy kabobs were slammed. haha.

Sienna’s American Girl Doll got a new pet bunny! She was very excited about it.
Sophia had been wanting a bucket hat and couldn’t wait to put it on!
And all the little boys got some new Little People toys that they dove right into paying with!

The three middle kids got Walkie Talkies and they have been using them non stop to communicate—–even when next two each other. haha.

For Easter breakfast we had the Sausage Egg Strata (as always!) and my mom made her Blueberry buckle. It wouldn’t be a holiday without these two recipes cooked up in the kitchen!

My Parents and our family met up with my Sister and her sweet crew to do outside Church!

Then we headed back to my parents’ house for a yummy lunch.
We had sandwiches and our favorite broccoli + cauliflower salad.

My mom had made the cutest cookies. (here’s the family recipe we always use.)
Also look at all the cute little dishes and figurines she put out…the little figurines are from my childhood. :)

Sophia made cupcakes and all the kids helped make some chocolate covered strawberries.
I made some carrot brownies! The green top is made out of cutting up the sour apple rope candies.
They were a hit!

My mom and I had fun setting up a pretty table for everyone. Easter is a special day!

We had an egg hunt outside for all the cousins and then hung out and ate all day.
Lots of happy kiddos full of sugar. haha. We played with the fun surprises from the Easter Bunny.
Look how cool Sophia’s first charcoal drawing turned out! (the charcoal drawing kit is so awesome.)

I took advantage of the boys in “matching” Church clothes for a little photo op.
I had gotten matching shoes for Hunter too…but… somehow they didn’t end up in our suitcases and were packed up in the moving boxes instead. OH WELL- cuteness overload still! FOUR BOYS. It’s still crazy to me that I have four boys after having my two girls and everyone telling me I might never have a boy!
They are the “bro team”… as they call themselves. haha.
