My parents are in town visiting and yesterday we took them to our Zoo!
So I thought it seemed fitting to share a Craft Time video we made, inspired by
a favorite Usborne Book all about Zoo Animals!
It’s another video in my Creative Learning Book Series where we combined a few
of our favorite things..crafting, snacking and reading!
You can find out more about Usborne Books Here and watch all of
the Creative Learning Videos I’ve shared so far Here.
We have the whole Peek Inside Collection (they were the first “set” of books I picked out!)
The Peek Inside the Zoo book is ADORABLE.
My kids ages 11 months – 8 years old allll like to read it.
It was fun looking through the book together and helping them choose
what animals we were going to try and make!
I like to do crafts with basic supplies…easy and affordable… and my kids are obsessed with paper plate crafts.
They were surprisingly well behaved with the paint…
Sometimes I have to take some chances and bust out the paint and not freak out over the mess..
kids make messes…we can clean up messes. They loved their animal masks and it was such a fun activity to do together.
We have a lot of animal mask crafting in our future…
What animal craft would your kids want to make?!
It was a fun afternoon at the Zoo yesterday and we are really
enjoying having Grandma and Grandpa in town!
My mom has been helping me dream up Asher’s 1st Birthday party (It’s Sunday!)
It’s a woodlands/baby forest animal party theme and it’s gonna be cuteeeeee.
Baked goods are the perfect color scheme for this party… it’s gonna be delicious. lol.
Can’t wait to share the fun DIY projects and simple party details we are doing to make it
fun and festive this weekend to celebrate our BIG boy.
If you love reading, crafting and snacking with your kids, be sure to check out the
other videos we posted and follow us on our YouTube Channel so you don’t miss any of the new ones!
