My girls just had their first week of school!
They were so excited. Of course there were butterflies… for all of us!
They were ready to get back into school, they love it.
BUT it’s always usually the third day where they are like wait…
I kind of miss mommy and daddy. lol.
It doesn’t take a lot to boost them up and get them excited again. Milkshakes always help. ;)
New is always a little overwhelming! But they did great.
We are so thankful and happy with the teachers they have this year. They are AMAZING.
We have a first and second grader and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
I know I can’t be the only one who wants to pick their kids’ brains when they get
home from school.. wanting all the details about their day!
But all I usually get is who got in trouble. haha.
I created a fun activity for my girls to do where they could draw
and write down things from their first week of school.
We did it tonight (friday evening) and they were total giggle boxes.
Who knew that the word “scissors” was so hilarious. “SO MANY S’S…lol.”
and they were just tickled over their drawings of themselves with their teachers!
I’m linking the free download below if you want to have some fun with
your little ones and chat about their first week while they doodle!

Download my FREE printable and use it with your little ones.
Enjoy and have fun together!
Sophia was killing me with the little legs crossed. haha.
Sienna was so thrilled with her shopkins back pack and crew socks. ;)
The girls filled out their memory sheet tonight and they were so giggly!
Friday night deliriousness. ;)
Who knew the word scissors was so hilarious. “so many s’ssss!” haha.
It was nice having this time to chat while they doodled and I was able to get more details out of them.
What they love..what makes them nervous.. silly things that might have happened.
Learned a song their teacher taught them to remember how to spell certain words.
Mission accomplished.
Apparently Sienna wishes her teacher and her could wear red evening wear to school.
And BOTH girls think the potatoes at lunch are AMAZING. ;)
Here’s some more shots of their first day of school.
We are lucky to be able to walk them to school if we want.
Excited for a new year!
If you started school too, I hope you
all had a great first week! I’ve loved seeing all the fun first day photos.
Too much cuteness!
