Problem Solving and Learning with Rusty Rivets Toys!

October 1, 2018

Today I’m sharing with you how Rusty Rivets toys were not only a hit with my boys, but with me!
I was able to sneak learning in as they played! I can’t wait to share how they work
and why you, as a mama, will love them too!
We were recently sent a box of fun that was FILLED with Rusty Rivets toys!
As I expected…Micah LOVED everything! But as a mom of a very
active little boy, I need to tell you how much I MYSELF loved these toys!
They had him totally engaged! He was having so much fun, following the steps to
build them, that he didn’t even realize he was working on
problem solving and developmental learning! MOM WIN.

If you don’t know much about Rusty Rivets, he’s a 21st century kid hero!
He invents his way out of every jam by repurposing spare parts and
objects into the most awesome contraptions ever!
The Rusty Rivets toys use an interchangeable peg system so kids can create new
and unique builds to help Rusty save the day, just like in the show! So clever.

If you’re looking for ways to sneak in learning into after school activities, these would be great.
I sat there, holding Hunter, and watched Micah follow the instructions to build things and
then use his own ideas to build his own creations! I loved that! I can’t rave enough about these toys.
They were perfect for my very active Micah man.

Micah is all about collections right now. He lines up all his toys in groups and
then gives me the whole low-down on what everything is.
Rusty Rivets offers a collectible line (like Micah loves) but is
all about empowering building, creativity and problem-solving skills!
They won’t just sit on his shelves- he can rebuild and create new contraptions!

The boys teamed up together to play and build. It was cute how big brother Micah was helping
Asher and showing him how to do things. I want to spark this creativity and
building with their hands in the boys– they are naturals at it!

You can purchase your own Rusty Rivets toys at your local Target and online here!
The Dinosaur was a HIT with Micah… and I was able to easily make dinner
that night while Asher played with the Rivet Lab! YAY! ;)
