They are an up and coming Magazine here in pittsburgh and i loved the experience.
I’m going to try and get the rest of the photos from the shoot. They ended up not using the ones from my “closet”.. probably because they used me as the model for their maternity wedding picks. natalie overload. ;) The dress is Calvin Klein that i found at gabe’s for 9.99! and the jewelry they picked for me.
It’s not my “typical” look…but it was fun getting dolled up!

I’m married to an amazing man, Ben. We have a 21 month old baby girl, Sophia, and are due with another girl in August! I love to make my house a home for my family and cook them yummy food. How would you describe your fashion style?
Classic, Feminine and Dignified.
What are your thoughts on maternity fashion?
I love that the maternity styles right now emphasize your baby belly. I wear a lot of the fitted tops. I also love wearing dresses while pregnant and there are so many lovely comfortable options right now! Luckily right now so many of the non-maternity styles are perfect for when you are pregnant so a lot of my clothes aren’t specifically maternity and can work after my pregnancy.
What is the best piece of fashion advice you’ve ever heard?
Undergarments should never be worn as Outer garments. J
What are your favorite stores in Pittsburgh?
H&M, Target, Old Navy & American Eagle.
What are your 3 favorite fashion items (article of clothing, accessory, pair of shoes, etc.)?
My Blanqi body styler, headbands (I can’t get enough of them!) & my AE Artist Jeans.
Has becoming a mom changed your style?
I think becoming a mom has made my style more comfortable and simple. I’ve switched from dangly earrings to studs just to not tempt my daughter from ripping my ear off! I used to wear heels constantly and now I love finding cute flats. It’s easier to chase a baby in flats.
Where would we find you on a Saturday morning at 11AM and what might you be wearing?
Where? Home whipping up something for lunch for my family. (possibly burning it.) Wearing?, Jeans, flats & a fitted top to show off my baby belly! Hopefully with clean hair, but if not, thrown back in a bun with one of my favorite headbands.
Does your husband ever buy you clothes? If so, do you like his taste? (wink if you’re just trying not to hurt his feelings!)
When it comes to clothes for me, my husband is pretty good about knowing what I would like. But he usually leaves that up to me. However, he comes home from Target with items for our Sophia all the time! Yesterday he brought home a pink ballerina swimsuit.
Matching mother/daughter dresses: yes or no?
No. but definitely matching children’s clothes. I can’t wait to dress both my girls in pink tutu’s together!
